TYPES OF HEARING AIDS
Types of Hearing Aids – Finding the Right Fit for You
Hearing aids come in various styles to suit different needs and preferences. From discreet in-ear models to powerful behind-the-ear options, each type is designed for optimal comfort, clarity, and performance. The right choice depends on your hearing level, lifestyle, and personal comfort.
Behind-The-Ear ( BTE )
BTE hearing aids rest comfortably behind the ear and connect to a custom earpiece. They are powerful, versatile, and suitable for all hearing loss levels. With advanced features like noise reduction, Bluetooth connectivity, and rechargeable options, BTE hearing aids provide clear sound and all-day comfort.
Receiver-in-Canal ( RIC )
RIC hearing aids are lightweight and discreet, with a speaker placed inside the ear canal for more natural sound quality. They offer excellent clarity, advanced noise reduction, and wireless connectivity while maintaining comfort and flexibility for various hearing needs.
Completely-In-The-Canal ( CIC )
CIC hearing aids are small, discreet devices that fit entirely inside the ear canal, making them nearly invisible. They provide natural sound quality and are ideal for mild to moderate hearing loss. Their compact design offers comfort and ease of use while minimizing wind noise and external interference.
In-The-Canal ( ITC )
ITC hearing aids are custom-molded to fit partially in the ear canal, offering a balance of discreet design and enhanced functionality. They provide clear sound, reduce background noise, and support features like volume control and Bluetooth connectivity, making them ideal for mild to moderate hearing loss.
Invisible-in-the-canal ( IIC )
IIC hearing aids are the smallest and most discreet option, sitting deep inside the ear canal for near-invisibility. They provide natural sound quality, reduce wind noise, and are ideal for mild to moderate hearing loss. Their snug fit offers comfort and clarity without being noticeable.
